Enjoy authentic Italian espresso in the comfort of your home with the new Philips Saeco Intelia and Philips Saeco Royal One Touch Cappuccino

January 17, 2013

Jakarta, Indonesia – Philips Saeco, the Italian inventor of the fully automatic espresso machine, has added two new home espresso machines – the Philips Saeco Intelia and Philips Saeco Royal One Touch Cappuccino to the existing collection of luxury espresso machines. Philips Saeco truly brings even the most demanding coffee connoisseur a unique Italian Barista experience at home, at the simple touch of a button.

"With improving living standards and urban lifestyle changes, there is strong demand for products that bring a touch of luxury and indulgence to the home. We launched Philips Saeco last year and recieved positive responses. With the addition of Philips Saeco Intelia and Philips Saeco Royal One Touch Cappuccino to our existing collection of luxury espresso machines,

we provide our loyal consumers with even more choices of tasty, intense and delicious Italian coffee," says Dodi Rachmat Uno, Business Development Manager, PT Philips Indonesia.

The new Philips Saeco Intelia models are the first fully automatic espresso machines for home use to be honored with an in-cup quality label, thanks to the adoption of a careful and dedicated internal process focused on respecting the Espresso Perfetto's sensory parameters, as defined by Philips Saeco and certified by Centro Studi Assaggiatori Italian Tasters, the most advanced Italian consultancy company in sensory analysis.

This special focus is particularly important as one's enjoyment of espresso involves several senses; from sight - used to judge the quality of the crema layer - to smell - used to perceive the drink's aroma. From touch to taste to feel, the velvety effect on one's palate should leave the most memorable of impressions - and the new Philips Saeco Intelia does exactly that.

The new Philips Saeco Royal One Touch Cappuccino typifies the next generation of a trusted classic. The optimized version improves on the strengths of its predecessor, delivers excellent taste via its one-touch cappuccino or latte macchiato option, and now comes in a robust and modern shape. Designed especially for heavy consumption by large families or small offices, this fully automatic espresso machine offers consistently high performance, even with frequent use, and is able to maintain the same delightful espresso aroma with each cup.

The Royal One Touch Cappucino features generous containers for water, coffee beans and a coffee grounds box, so that the machine is ready to deliver even on busy days. Moreover, many vital components, which were thoroughly tested over the last 15 years and belong to Philips Saeco's "Royal classic heritage", e.g. the brewing unit and conical grinders, have been adopted in this version too, in order to act as a perfectly reliable "barista" at home.

"Philips Saeco has a long-standing heritage in fully automatic espresso machine innovations that has its roots in Italy more than 25 years ago. Bring the Italian passion and lifestyle to your home and have a pleasant moment with Philips Saeco that feels like meeting up in an Italian café," concludes Dodi Rachmat Uno.
