How to load bottles and accessories in the Avent sterilizer.

To ensure accurate sterilization of your Philips Avent sterilizer, you should follow these instructions.

Step-by-step instructions

1) Make sure all parts that need to be sterilized are clean and completely disassembled.
2) Place all parts that need to be sterilized in the basket with their openings pointing down to prevent them from filling up with water.
3) Avoid stacking the items too closely together: Make sure steam is able to circulate around the items to ensure effective sterilization.

Place small items such as soothers in the small basket

Put nipples on the bottom of the basket, place screw rings loosely on top of the nipples and clip bottle dome caps into the holders

Only the small basket on the sterilizer base:

Small items such as soothers.

  • When you fill the small basket, put the nipples at the bottom of the basket, place the screw rings loosely on top of the nipples and clip the bottle dome caps into the holders

Only the large basket on the sterilizer base:

Medium-sized items such as breast pumps, toddler plates or toddler cutlery.

Large and small basket on the sterilizer base:

Up to 6 11oz/330ml bottles.

  • Place the bottles upside down in the large basket and place the bottle dome caps, screw rings and nipples in the small basket.
