Kodex-EPD

KODEX-EPD system for cardiac imaging and mapping

See true anatomy without radiation.

Personalize therapy based on intraprocedural insights

Simplify your workflow for more efficient procedures

Optimize your quality of care

Despite advances in imaging and mapping technologies for Electrophysiology (EP), physicians are still encountering difficult challenges when performing interventions like cryo and RF ablations. The new KODEX-EPD system is an open platform that works with any qualified EP catheter and uses dielectric imaging to give physicians new insights to guide their interventions. It has been developed to address key unmet needs in EP procedures today. This is a completely new approach to cardiac imaging, providing real-time, HD imaging that visualizes true anatomy and creates voltage and activation maps.
    Azurion with ClarityIQ

    Azurion with ClarityIQ

    Clutter-free and comfortable lab environment

    Streamlined workflow through lab integration

Industry-leading image quality at a fraction of the dose

Our Azurion with ClarityIQ technology enables physicians to deliver fast, effective and simplified electrophysiology procedures with an efficient clinical workflow. All while reducing radiation dosage by 43%, compared to a system without ClarityIQ.1,2

    FlexVision Pro

Control all tasks at table side

    Save time via flexible working

    Bring images closer to you

In atrial fibrillation many different modalities are used during the procedure. With FlexVision Pro you can now control all compatible applications in the interventional lab via the central touch screen module and FlexVision Pro. Not only does this improve workflow within the exam room, it helps reduce the need for team members to leave the sterile area and walk to the control room during procedures. This can save time and help avoid delays.

    The ability to reduce fluoroscopy

"The imaging system (KODEX-EPD) integrated to cryotechnology allows to visualize abnormal anatomies before angiography, avoiding the search for a separate ostium, and, thanks to the Occlusion feature software, allows to position the cryoballoon correctly by reducing the amounts of time X-ray exposure and contrast."

    Dielectric imaging

    Dielectric imaging

Dielectric imaging creates high-definition 3D images of a patient’s cardiac structures in real-time, without using ionizing radiation. This technology overcomes limitations of the current technologies and offers benefits for both cryo and RF ablation procedures. It has the potential to provide new insights into complex cardiac structures to greatly simplify navigation and therapy delivery.

    ClarityIQ

    ClarityIQ
ClarityIQ technology provides high quality imaging for a variety of clinical procedures. It delivers excellent visibility at low X-ray dose levels for patients of all sizes. Multiple clinical studies on more than 15000 patients have been published on ClarityIQ technology to date revealing one truth: significantly lower dose across clinical areas, patients and operators.5-7

    KODEX-EPD RF Ablation System

    Kodex-EPD
The KODEX-EPD RF Ablation Systemis an open platform system which allows physicians to choose from a wide range of therapeutic catheters4. Based on the market-leading platform from Stockert, the KODEX-EPD RF Ablation System is designed for streamlined operation.

    1. The results of the application of dose reduction techniques will vary depending on the clinical task, patient size, anatomical location and clinical practice. The interventional radiologist assisted by a physicist as necessary has to determine the appropriate settings for each specific clinical task.

Results based on total dose area product from a single center prospectively randomized cohort study on 136 patients (68 for Allura Xper without ClarityIQ and 68 for Allura Xper with ClarityIQ).
