I am very happy with the Body Groomer. This is the second one I have had and I used the previous one for more than 10 years. This one is definitely an improvement and I especially love the attachment for shaving my back but it also does a great job with other body hair.

I can recommend the Body Groomer 5000. Its light, easy to clean and charges with a USB cable. I have used many body groomers and the American ones are too stiff to reposition the handle to do your back. The Philips Body Groomer 5000 is quick to adjust the back handle and it fits in all the hard to reach areas of my back. It has a very powerful motor and can cut the finer hairs on my chest or back. It is more affordable than some other body groomers and easier to clean. The others get clogged up with hairs and stop working.

Works as stated, easy to operate and would recommend.

The overall product is good, except they took a step back with the design by removing the charging station compared to the 2000 and 3000 series. I don't really get why they released a new version with less features at a higher cost.

Back attachment was completely useless which was the main reason for the purchase. The charging function eventually failed for no reason after battling with it for months. So much so had to go out and buy a replacement. Previous model lasted longed than this one. Only good thing was it never nicked anywhere.

The battery on this literally dies within 5 minutes - after its been fully charged. This product is literally brand new and it stops working. Incredibly poor from a company like Philips. It works fine - when it works - but had I been aware the battery performance was non existent - I wouldn't have wasted my money. Don't waste yours.
