It performs well as stated and with wifi enabled I can access and control from anywhere. Value for money

I already have a bigger philips one. Bought this smaller one for one of the smaller bedrooms. Works great and less noisy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Receive my air purifier on the first day of the event and told my wife about it, she says how big is it and when it comes to our doorstep she was like what so small? can it really do its jobs by cleaning the air? After a few hrs of running it still show RED and we bring it to the bedrooms where the kids are sleeping, less then 2hrs the LED turns Blue I was like wow!!! I can switch it off when I saw that the blue light is 'ON'. There are 3 modes on this purifier “ low sound “ for use when sleeping, “ Auto “ automatic self switching and “ High Mode “ that run on high speed. The design looks good and cool fit well in all the room. The filter is very easy to chance just turn it upside down and turn the back cover to unlock and remove the bad filter. Love this purifier a lot and will recommend this to all my family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cool thing about this air filter is its auto-sensor which indicates (using colour lights) if the air quality in the room is very poor or good. It has four modes--from very poor (red) to poor (purple-red) to fair (blue-purple) to good (blue). The loudness of the device will varies from loud to quiet depending on the air quality of the room. If the air quality is poor the cleaning power is the loudest. Then it will shifts to softer mode as the light changes from red all the way to blue. It will continue to maintain the air quality at the blue mode unless the air quality changes. If the machine is left on, the sensor will continue to monitor and keeps on cleaning until it reaches good quality. Whether any air purifier really works or not is hard to tell without the sensor. Have had other air purifier before but none as quiet as this. Only used it for about a week and placed it in the master bedroom and air in the bedroom was good as the nostrils were not blocked the next morning especially during this haze season. To the sensitive sleeper the sensor can be annoying if the sensor keeps shifting mode from good and then back-down to fair or poor. Why that might happen depends on the bedroom if the windows are air tight. if not pollutants that come in might trigger the sensor. Cleaning the filter is easy. Turn the filter upside down and unscrew the bottom and vacuum the filter. There is also a replacement alert according to the user manual. If the filter becomes too dirty it must be replaced or else the appliance might stop operating and get locked, according to the user manual. Do not know how much the filter will cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Series 800 Air Purifier is a well-designed air purifier that outputs superior clean air. The single touchpad cycles through different modes of Auto, Sleep and Turbo. With a 4-step real-time Air Quality coloured ring ranging from blue (good) to red (poor) to display the current air condition. The device claims that it can clean a room of 20 m² in under 16 minutes which I found to be accurate and true. In sleep mode, the display lights are dimmed, and the purifier operates silently so as not to disturb your sleep with a noise level as low as 35db. At the back, there is a switch to turn on or off the device alongside a removable plug for the power. The plug head is small and has a 1.6m long cable so the device can be of some distance away from an available socket. The design of the air purifier blends well into various home interiors and complements the rest of the furniture, making it a great addition to have. It is suitable for a room size of up to 49 m². However, the device does not have any sort of rubber pads on its base which makes it quite slippery on surfaces of furniture it is placed on. I would suggest adding on some rubber feet to the base on your own if you have pets or children around the house who might accidentally bump and knock over the device since it is actually very lightweight at 2.4 kg. The purifier boasts VitaShield and AeraSense technology with its filter to remove 99.5% nano-sized particles that are as small as 0.003um. On replacement of the FY0194 filter, the process is really simple and clean. Simply flip the device upside down and twist the base open. Then using the flap to pull out the old filter and dump it before doing the same with the new filter. A process that can be done in seconds. No mess and free from sneezes so that even those with allergies can do so. It is not possible to check the filter life of the filter, but when the lifespan is almost up, an icon will appear on the top of the touchpad to indicate so. All in all, the Philips Series 800 Air Purifier is a simple and hassle-free air purifier that cleans the air of any room it is put in. Its design is clean and minimalist complementing any home interior. It offers a 2-year global warranty and has high energy efficiency.

Not noisy and i feel comfortable at night while sleeping.

I was recommended to buy an air purifier as we have a lot burner and our house seems to have more than an average amount of dust. Since buying and using this product for a couple of months now we have noticed we’ve all stopped coughing both during the day and in the evening/overnight. Coincidence? I don’t believe so. This product has improved the air we breathe.

Honestly, I cannot recommend this air purifier enough for the first night of having it in the morning. I broke up so much mucus and couldn’t believe that the air purifier had purified the air and was breaking up all the viruses that were in my chest. Sounds mad but honestly, if I wasn’t so worried about that picture, I would send you all the picture to prove what came out of my chest. It is amazing product. I feel like I can breathe so much better and my wee girl Sleeps through the night it is honestly one of the quietest amazing products there is on the market. I can’t believe that doctors do not recommend this enough.
