Shaver series 3000Dry electric shaver

Bought this product in 2014. It's 2021 and the product is working very well. Have to change the shaver blade occasionally. It is products like this that make me trust the Philips brand a lot.

This shaver is comfortable to hold and very easy to use. Mains operation means that there is always full power.

I haven't used an electric shaver for several years but razor has been fantastic & I take it everywhere with me.

good design, ease of use for bigner, need to increase electric card lenth so that we can move it easily

Unfortunately I purchased a mains only version and, when in use, the power cord disconnects frequently

For a good shave at a sensible price this shaver has to be recommended. Performance is good rather than great but what do you want for such a good price, so far this shaver has performed well and is easy to use. There are no gimmicks to this, it just gets the job done which is all I need from it. Not sure about longevity as the edge seems to go off the blades fairly quickly but perhaps I'll just have to buy another one!

The shaver is not as powerful as my previos Philips shaver and does not seem to give a lasting shave. The shaver head system is better on the new shaver but a lack of power means the shave takes longer. Hoiwever perhaps I should have spent more on a better model.

I have used Norelco shavers for decades. This Series 3000 shaver 3500 PT730 is continually shutting down in the middle of a shave despite the fact that the shaver is plugged into an electrical outlet. My guess is that the re-charging mechanism/process is faulty. I have owned this shaver for less than one year. I just want a shaver that works when I plug it into the outlet. I don't want a faulty rechargeable shaver. Apparently Norelco doesn't make a shaver without a recharging system. I'll have to buy another brand. Too bad.
