Cinavia is a watermark content protection solution provided by Verance. It is a mandatory requirement applied in all Blu-ray players and Blu-ray HCS system from Feb 2012 onwards, according to the new AACS LA (Advanced Access Content System), a Blu-ray format consortium).
With this watermark content protection, users can enjoy any original commercial movie titles in the market. Unauthorized copies of movie titles will not be able to play back by the player. There will be an error message displayed on screen.
