How to charge the glow-in-the-dark ring

Published on 07 October 2025

To make the ring glow so you can observe the progress of a nighttime feeding session, you need to charge it first:

  • Take the ring off the bottle and leave it to charge by indoor light or daylight for about one hour.
  • If you need to boost the glow-in-the-dark ring at night quickly, place it under a bright light (for example, a table lamp) for about a minute, and it will glow again.

How to assemble the glow-in-the-dark ring

  • Make sure that the feeding teat is fully pulled through the screw ring.
  • Place the glow-in-the-dark ring on the bottle before you assemble the screw ring and teat.
  • Align the sides of the glow-in-the-dark ring with the scales on the bottle by rotating it to make the scales visible.

The Philips Avent Natural Response Nighttime bottle can also be used without the glow-in-the-dark ring.
