I have it for about a year and a half and it is perfection, I use it daily for my smoothies, I bought it for about 90 euros then and it was totally worth the investment, the only thing that bothers me is that lost the spatula :( but the blender it self fully met my expectations, highly recomend it. It's my favourite tool in the kitchen!!

After using a bargain priced blender, the Philips 2096 was a dream. Easy to clean, easy to use. Makes mixed fruit drinks to perfection. The instructions could have been better. That's the only negative I found on this Blender. If you are looking for a blender, this is it. Have my blender just a few weeks, but it is in daily use.

I hav been using this product for past 6-8 months. High performance and make splendid smoothie. However, I too encounter smell of rust and brownish liquid pools in the exterior of blade/ contact to motor base after each use. I decided to top my jar with clean tap water and let it run for a cycle using ice crushing function. The water turned brownish with a rusty smell!! All the while my family has been enjoying smoothie with rust, except it had been covered up! The blade seriously has a fault in its design where liquid trapped within and turn rusty! Worst is, the rust seeps into the content in the jar after every use.

A good and effective blender that works as required.

저는 이웃 소개로 약 10여년전 부터 필립스전기 제품을 사용하고 있는데 지난번에 구입한 믹서기가 좀 무겁긴해도 성능면등에 대해서 믿고 쓸만한 제품입니다.

My family are vegan (fruitarians mostly), we make a lot of fruit shakes including frozen banana. This blender handles the job pretty well, at least better than all others we have had including a supposedly better (more expensive model) from another brand. I wish they used a great quality plastic jug just to save weight and to save the worry of my kids (or I) breaking this one, but the design of it (and the blade) does a great job. Love the ice function, hit it and walk away. Come back in 30 secs (or so) and have a great banana shake with very little air in it.

I was extremely happy on the performance of this blender until recently when I see rust appearing at the rotary blade base ie. when I lift up the glass jar rust water could be seen. After blending rust also appear in the water when I try to wash the jar. It looks as if the rotary blade shaft has rusted and is mixing into the blends. Appreciate your advise and follow-up action. Thank you.

We have been using the blender every day (to make smoothies) for 10 months without any problems, and taking excellent care of it. It has worked superbly until around 10 months, when we noticed that the motor would sometimes shut down. After about a week, it shut down completely and we had to take it in to be repaired (which took about a week) and returned to us in great shape. However, about a month after that, we noticed dark brown liquid pooling at the bottom of the blade between the base unit and the blade exterior. After checking it thoroughly, we concluded that there must be rust within the blade part, hence the rusty brown liquid pools after each use. Smell has a distinct metal-ish odor as well. I took it in, only to be told that this is not under warranty but that we can purchase it ($22). I'm not sure if a $169 blender is worth the value if it breaks down after 1yr use, but for my family, since we have used it daily for the last 365 days, I would say it's alright. Not great bang for the buck, but I highly value it's performance. Even if it breaks, I'd probably go back and get it again, even if for a year.

It is flashing orange lights, any help? and will not start.

유리컵과 믹서에 고정되는 매뉴얼로 보면 2번과 4번에 해당하는 부분이 꽉 조여지면 달리 분리 할방법이 없다. 최홍만이 와도 못 뺄듯.... 이거 도대체 어떻게 빼야됩니까?
